Review
I have major love for all things artsy, over the years I've developed a collection of paints, papers and all sorts of craft items. I have two extra large storage boxes of all my art supplies and I am running out of places to put coloured pens and different types of glitter glues.
But when I discover something new it's difficult for me to get it out of my head! While browsing in CNA over the weekend I came across a set of markers I had never seen before and I was in awe!
I always take time out to look at different types of stationary available in stores and when I found myself in CNA on Saturday. After browsing through forest colours, colour pencils and 24 sets of markers I found something quite intrigued.
There was this set of 12 markers by a brand I had never heard of before Docrafts Artiste. What made this different to your average marker was that it had duel tips.
A thicker brush marker at the one end and on the other was a fine point. I thought this was a brilliantly designed marker - I have often done some sort of craft that called for different types of thickness's.
It always annoyed me when I was filling in something with a marker and the size was too big and I would have to manurer the marker, in a way in which I hoped it gave me a thinner stroke.
Well I didn't purchase the markers on the spot but it didn't take long for me to go back to the store the next day to buy them. I got them for around R250.00 at CNA.
I am happy that I got these markers they are a really cool and have a clever design. They came in 12 pretty colours; Green, Chartreuse, Blue, Sky Blue, Lapis Lazuli, Violet, Pink, Red, Orange, Light Salmon, Yellow and Black.
They also come in other variations of colours but I have yet to find them in store.
I really love that they have two different sized tips. I have used the thicker one for colouring and doodling. The thinner one is handy for writing as well as outlining or getting colour in really tricky areas. The colours are vibrant and the quality of the tips are very good compared to other markers I have used. I don't have to press down too hard to get the colour to come out and it doesn't clump up or seep through the page.

I decide to put these markers to the test with a small doodle just to see what they could do but what came out was surprising. I used the markers to complete a 5 minute pencil drawing I did and I was blown away by how just a little colour from Docrafts Artiste markers can make a big difference.

I would like to check out more products from Docrafts in the future as these markers have set a standard for their products.
